79Bike UAE – Official Warranty Policy

Operated by STRYKE Trading LLC (Authorized UAE Distributor)

This Warranty Policy applies to all 79Bike electric dirt motorcycles sold in the United Arab Emirates through STRYKE Trading LLC, the official and authorized distributor of 79Bike in the UAE. Purchases from unauthorized sellers, grey importers, or private resellers are not covered under this warranty.


1. Warranty Eligibility

  • The motorcycle was purchased from STRYKE Trading LLC or an authorized UAE dealer.
  • Customer provides valid proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation).
  • Serial numbers and security seals remain intact and unaltered.
  • Warranty applies only to the original owner (non-transferable).

2. Warranty Duration

The following components are covered:

Component Warranty Duration
Battery 12 months
Controller 12 months
Motor 12 months
Frame 36 months

No accessory, sensor, display, or add-on carries a warranty unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed.

Warranty starts from the date of delivery or pickup.


3. What the Warranty Covers

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects only:

  • Motor, controller, and battery BMS internal defects
  • Structural frame defects not caused by impact
  • Electrical defects caused by manufacturing faults

STRYKE will repair or replace defective components at no cost. Warranty covers parts only — not full motorcycle replacement.


4. Warranty Exclusions

4.1 Rider Misuse or Abuse

  • Accidents, crashes, impacts, collisions
  • Stunt riding, jumping, racing
  • Overloading beyond recommended limits
  • Riding with loose bolts, worn brake pads, loose chain
  • Ignoring warning signs (noise, smell, vibration)

4.2 Water or Environmental Damage

  • Flooding or water submersion
  • Riding in heavy rain or deep water
  • Water entering battery, controller, connectors, or motor
  • Pressure washing or improper cleaning
  • Corrosion due to poor storage

4.3 Unauthorized Modifications

  • Firmware tuning or controller modification
  • Aftermarket motors, controllers, or battery packs
  • Electrical rewiring, cutting, bypassing
  • Non-original chargers or accessories

4.4 Battery Exclusions

  • Tampered or broken seals
  • Physical damage or swelling
  • Charging when overheated
  • Leaving battery charging overnight
  • Long-term storage at 0% or 100%
  • Exposure to extreme heat or direct sunlight
  • Using non-original charger

4.5 Normal Wear and Tear (Not Covered)

  • Tires, tubes, brake pads, rotors
  • Chains, sprockets, bearings, bushings
  • Plastics, decals, switches, bulbs
  • Fasteners, bolts, fuses

4.6 Improper Assembly / Transport

  • Customer assembly errors
  • Damage during self-transport
  • Unauthorized service center repairs
  • Incorrect accessory installation

4.7 External Causes

  • Fire, theft, vandalism
  • Power surges or unstable electricity
  • Courier shipping damage
  • Force Majeure events

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Tighten bolts and screws regularly
  • Maintain chain tension and lubrication
  • Replace brake pads when worn
  • Maintain correct tire pressure
  • Store bike and battery in a cool, dry place
  • Use only the original 79Bike charger
  • Avoid overcharging or overnight charging
  • Stop riding if unusual behavior occurs
  • Bring motorcycle for early inspection when needed

Failure to follow responsibilities may void the warranty.


6. Warranty Claim Process (UAE)

Provide:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Invoice copy
  • Serial/VIN number
  • Description of issue
  • Photos or video evidence

Step 2 – Bring to STRYKE Service Center
Customer is responsible for transportation. Pickup/drop-off can be arranged for a fee.

Step 3 – Technical Inspection

  • Diagnostics performed
  • Electrical/mechanical inspection
  • Determine warranty eligibility

Inspection is free only if approved as warranty claim.

Step 4 – Warranty Approval

  • Defective part repaired or replaced
  • Only defective part replaced, not full motorcycle

No replacement bikes are provided.


7. Warranty Repair Timeframes

Typical repair time: up to 4 working days (varies based on queue and parts availability).


8. Warranty Void Situations

  • Serial number or seal tampering
  • Controller or battery opened
  • Firmware modification
  • Using non-original charger
  • Water intrusion
  • Racing or stunt riding
  • Unauthorized repairs
  • Aftermarket battery/controller installed

9. Limitations of Warranty

  • No compensation for inconvenience or delays
  • No towing/transport cost coverage
  • No rental or replacement bikes
  • No personal injury or property damage coverage
  • No consequential business loss coverage

10. Out-of-Warranty Repairs

STRYKE offers full service support for:

  • Accidental damage
  • Wear and tear
  • Upgrades & replacements
  • Non-warranty repairs

Standard service fees apply.


11. Governing Law

This Warranty Policy is governed by UAE law. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Dubai, UAE.
